This hair styling set is a decent choice, but there are some things to consider before purchasing it. For reference, I have fine hair, but a lot of it, and it’s wavy/curly and reaches the middle of my back. At home, I use a Dyson blow dryer and a Chi 1″ Ceramic flat iron. With the Kenra Blow Dry Spray, it usually takes me around 5-10 minutes to dry my hair (15-20 minutes without spray) and another 10 minutes to flat iron it, sectioning it into 5-6 layers. However, this set doubled my drying time. If you have long hair, be cautious because your hair might get sucked into the filter on the back of the dryer a few times.

The flat iron takes much longer to style hair than my usual tools. Even though I have a lot of hair, I can usually achieve a sleek look with my normal tools, but this set still leaves me with a lot of volume, which is okay but not how my hair usually looks. The flat iron only has one heat setting, which is not enough for me to straighten my hair completely. If you need high heat settings for your hair, this set is not for you.
I was able to get most of my hair straight using the blow dryer before using the flat iron to smooth out what I missed and tame the frizz. However, if you have super curly hair, this set is not going to work for you because the flat iron won’t be able to straighten your hair. I used it the next morning after sleeping on my hair, which usually makes it wavy again because I sleep hot. It was able to remove the wave, but it took three times longer than my usual routine, and I had more volume than usual.
Overall, this set will work for what I need it to do, given its size and heat capabilities. However, if you’re looking for a faster hair routine or higher heat settings, this set is not for you. You should also be prepared to spend about four times longer than your usual hair routine because of the doubled time for the blow dryer and tripled time for the flat iron.
