I recently purchased a new hair dryer for my 2b-3a wavy-curly hair, which is bleached and high porosity. It takes forever to dry, and air-drying is not an option as it will still be wet hours later. I was on a budget but wanted something that could dry my hair quickly and efficiently. After watching reviews, I decided to go for a dyson-esque dryer with magnetic attachments.

One of the things I love about this dryer is the magnetic attachments. The magnet is strong and won’t fall off when I hang the dryer on my storage hook. I also like that I can attach the other piece for straight hair on my mirror for storage. My husband even used the other piece for his beard and loves it.

The dryer has different temperature settings, and I tend to leave it on cool/cold since I use the diffuser right up against my head. It cycles through many settings, from cold to warm to hot to hot/cold (alternating), then back to hot warm cool. It stays at the setting you choose even if you turn it off, which is great. The only downside is that you need to look at the heat nozzle to see which color is on, so you know which setting it is at, and you can’t see that if the diffuser is in place.

Overall, this dryer works great on my wavy curls, and the other nozzle is perfect for a straight look. It’s also great for my husband’s beard. I do wish the light indicator was easier to see, and the diffuser was a little longer, but I have another diffuser that works well for getting to my roots on wash day.

The dryer is light, quiet, and fast, which are all great features. It’s a great value for the price, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable and efficient hair dryer.
