When it comes to finding the perfect hair dryer, it can be a challenge to find one that meets all your needs. I’ve had this dryer since 2020 and, writing this in 2023, I’ve yet to come across a better product. As someone with quite thick, frizzy hair, I’ve always struggled to find a hair dryer that doesn’t leave my hair fluffier and poofier than before. But this underground-brand-product has been a game-changer for me.
After using this hair dryer brush, my hair is always extremely soft, smooth, and shiny. And what’s more, it only takes about 10-15 minutes for my whole head. Yes, really. The heat regulation is fine, and I’ve never experienced any breakage from this product after using it for years.
The only downside is that the “cool” feature is inconvenient, as you have to twist the dial. But overall, that’s a minor inconvenience compared to all the benefits this hair dryer brush provides. The style doesn’t hold past one day, but for how smooth and soft it leaves my hair, I can manage with heartless curls in between.
What really impressed me was when I purchased the Dyson Airwrap and tried using it today. I’m no newbie to hair, but I was so frustrated by how frizzy it was making my hair for the price I paid for it. Swapping out various brushes and achieving no resolution, I gave up and plugged this one back in. And the difference was insane. If I were told this was the $700 brush, I’d believe it.
That said, I’m going to toy with using the Dyson curling barrels for touch-ups in between wash days, but this will remain my go-to for the initial blowout.
